John Morgan

John is a Director and founder of BCR Advisory. He has worked in the auditing and corporate recovery divisions of several national accounting firms with his more recent appointments in the key leadership role of Director.

John has worked in the accounting, auditing and corporate recovery departments of several major international accounting firms. He was a Partner and National Insolvency Director at BDO for eight years; he spent four years as a Partner with PKF and a further five years as a Partner and head of the Insolvency division of a national accounting firm.

His vast experience in all types of corporate insolvency appointments places John as a uniquely qualified industry expert in the field, of which BCR’s clients are direct beneficiaries. In addition, John continues his long standing interest in the insolvency profession’s growth and development.

Tom Vandermeer

Tom Vandermeer is a Chartered Accountant with many years of experience both prior to and as a senior member of the BCR Advisory team, working over a wide range of insolvency administrations.

Tom has successfully negotiated and executed multiple Small Business Restructures, helping businesses of all shapes and sizes to continue trading, thus avoiding the value destruction of a winding up.

Renowned for his exceptional communication skills and innovative lateral thinking, Tom excels in navigating complex financial challenges and delivering tailored solutions that drive business turnaround and growth.

Daniel Moore

DIRECTOR

Daniel is a Registered Liquidator and a Trustee in Bankruptcy with 28 years of experience in the specialised discipline of Insolvency accounting.

Daniel joined BCR Advisory in early 2019 to build on the combined strengths of his well-known presence in Brisbane and BCR’s broader geographical spread. BCR’s clients now benefit from Daniel’s experience with specialist and international firms and more recent boutique service, prioritising recovery over closure and liquidation.

Gregg Johnson

Gregg began his insolvency career over 20 years ago with the Insolvency and Trustee Service Australia (now known as the Australian Financial Security Authority – “AFSA”).  He then garnered corporate insolvency experience through roles at Ferrier Hodgson and Freer Parker.

Gregg specialises in providing workable solutions to individuals experiencing financial hardship. He is experienced in the management of bankruptcy, Personal Insolvency Agreements (Pt X), Debt Agreements (Pt IX) and informal arrangements.

His experience with corporate receiverships and liquidations allows him to manage trade-on and sale matters and also undertake complex investigations into the affairs of companies in liquidation.

Belinda Vella

Belinda has worked in the field of insolvency for over 20 years in the corporate recovery department of several national accounting firms.

Belinda has extensive experience in trading engagements and large scale investigations and is equally adept at efficiently managing small to medium size voluntary administrations and liquidations. Her project management and effective communication skills have also been utilised by The Office of the Registrar of Indigenous Corporations to conduct administration and investigation assignments involving government grants to remote aboriginal communities.
